Your legal guarantee
ZUDI Mobility products sold to consumers are covered by the mandatory legal guarantee of conformity that applies to the sale. For purchases governed by Portuguese law, the seller is responsible for a lack of conformity that becomes apparent within three years of delivery under Decree-Law No. 84/2021. Consumers in other EU or EEA countries may benefit from different or additional mandatory protections. These statutory rights are not reduced by any separate manufacturer or commercial warranty.
If a product is not in conformity, you may be entitled to repair or replacement free of charge. If those remedies are impossible, disproportionate or not completed within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience, you may be entitled to a price reduction or termination of the contract, subject to applicable law.
How to make a claim
Email support@zudimobility.com with your order number, product model and serial number, a clear description of the issue, and photographs or video where useful. We may ask you to complete reasonable diagnostic steps before arranging parts, repair, replacement or return transport.
For damage visible on delivery, please report it as soon as reasonably possible and keep the packaging while the case is assessed. A delayed report does not remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
What is not normally covered
The guarantee does not cover ordinary wear and consumable parts where the issue is solely the result of normal use; accidental or impact damage; misuse; neglect; incorrect assembly or storage; water or corrosion damage beyond the product’s certified protection; use of an incompatible charger or battery; unauthorised modifications or repairs; racing, stunts or commercial abuse; or damage caused by failure to follow the manual.
These exclusions do not apply where the underlying problem is a manufacturing defect or lack of conformity present at delivery.
Transport and repairs
Do not ship a battery, e-bike or scooter without written return instructions. Lithium-battery transport is regulated and may require a designated carrier and packaging. For a valid conformity claim, ZUDI will bear the necessary costs required by applicable consumer law.
